Pan-Fried Steak


Boneless  steak
Melted butter or vegetable oil
Salt and Pepper to taste

Season the steak with salt and pepper.  Medium onion split in half, one half grate and coat the meat. Marinade steak in refrigerator for two hours or overnight. Heat the pan, add oil or butter to the pan. Remove grated onion from the steak. Cook for two minutes on the first side and turn heat down to medium-low to finish the cooking.  Cook for another two minutes on the second side for medium-rare (If you want your steak cooked more or less, adjust the heat and cook time accordingly). Remove steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes. Do not cover your steak. In the same pan fry another half of the sliced onion and tomatoes. Prepare a side dish – it could be either mashed potato, or fried potato.
